What’s God’s Name?
Exodus 3:1–15
Moses stands before a burning bush and hears God call his name. God has seen Israel’s suffering. He has heard their cries. He has not forgotten His promise. And now He tells Moses, “I am sending you.”
But Moses has questions. Who am I? Who are You? What is Your name?
God’s answer shifts the focus away from Moses’ ability and onto God’s presence, His name, and His faithfulness. Moses would have to trust God before he could see how everything would turn out.
We face the same question today: Can God be trusted when we cannot see what He is doing? We trust Him because we know who He is—and we know what He has done.
