When You Can’t See What God Is Doing

Exodus 1:8–2:10

What do you do when powerful forces seem to be in control and God appears nowhere to be found?

In Exodus 1, Pharaoh seems to hold all the power. He oppresses God’s people, tries to stop their growth, and even orders the death of their sons. But the more Pharaoh schemes, the more God’s purpose keeps moving forward.

And while nobody can see it, God is already preparing a deliverer.

This message explores what happens when evil looks strong, when suffering feels unfair, and when God’s people can’t yet see what He is doing. Exodus reminds us that not even the most powerful can stop God’s purpose to preserve and deliver His people. And it calls us to trust God when we feel powerless and to fear God when the pressure to compromise is strong.
