The Mind of Christ

The gospel is meant to produce more than people who believe the right things. It forms a new kind of people.

In Philippians 2:1–13, Paul calls believers away from selfish ambition, conceit, and looking only to their own interests. Instead, he points us to Jesus, who humbled Himself, became a servant, and obeyed the Father even to death on a cross.

The mind of Christ changes the way we see ourselves and one another. And we are not left to accomplish that transformation alone. God is at work in us, giving us the desire and power to live in a way that pleases Him.

What could our church become if our life together increasingly looked like Jesus?
