On Whose Terms?

Jesus tells a remarkable story about a king who invites guests to celebrate his son's wedding. Some refuse the invitation. Others respond. But then something unexpected happens when the king discovers a guest who isn't dressed appropriately for the occasion.

In Matthew 22:1–14, Jesus challenges us to consider what it really means to belong to God's Kingdom. His invitation is extended freely, without regard to our past or our achievements. Yet accepting that invitation isn't simply a matter of outward identification.

We can appear to belong to God's Kingdom without genuinely submitting to His authority.

In "On Whose Terms?" we explore the extraordinary privilege of God's invitation, the seriousness of our response, and what it means to recognize Jesus as King.
