Held by God
Romans 8:26-39
Suffering doesn’t just hurt us. It makes us question God.
If God loves me, why did He let this happen? If God is for me, why is my life going this way? Has He abandoned me?
Romans 8 does not explain why every painful thing happens. Instead, Paul answers a more urgent question: What does God do for people who suffer in a broken world?
The Holy Spirit helps us when we do not know what to pray. God continues working when we cannot see what He is doing. Jesus intercedes for us, and the cross proves that God is for us.
This message explores how to live when life doesn’t make sense—not by pretending we understand the plan, but by trusting the God who holds us from weakness to glory.
