When Everything You’ve Built Comes Crashing Down

1 Kings 9:1–9 — Solomon’s temple was one of the most glorious buildings ever built. Covered in gold, filled with beauty, it represented heaven and earth coming together. But God warned Solomon that if His people abandoned Him, even this temple would be reduced to ruins. In Jesus, we see the greater temple—He became the one who was struck down in our place, so we could be brought back into God’s presence.
