When You See Only Jesus

Mark 9:2–10

In this powerful moment on the mountain, Jesus is revealed in glory before Peter, James, and John. For a brief moment, the curtain is pulled back. They see what they could not see on their own.

But the mountain isn’t the destination.

When the Father speaks—“This is my dearly loved Son. Listen to Him.”—everything changes. Because seeing Jesus rightly means you can’t stay where you are. Glory leads somewhere. It leads down the mountain. It leads toward obedience. It leads toward the cross.

If you’ve ever wanted an experience with God but resisted the reshaping that follows, this message is for you.

At Navigate Church, we believe the gospel doesn’t invite us into a moment—it calls us into transformation.
