Look Again

Revelation 1:4–8

Things aren’t always what they seem.

The Roman Empire looked powerful, permanent, and unstoppable. Jesus followers looked small, weak, and insignificant. But the opening words of Revelation pull back the curtain and show what is really true.

Jesus is not absent. Jesus is not losing. Jesus is the faithful witness, the risen King, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. He loves us, freed us from our sins by His blood, and made us a kingdom of priests for God.

This message explores what happens when fear, pressure, and appearances shape how we see the world—and why Jesus calls us to look again.
