What Comes After “Because”?

Acts 10:34–43

Why would God accept you?

Most people already have an answer. We assume being a good person, trying hard, or staying close to God is enough. But in Acts 10, Peter reveals something that challenges all of that.

Cornelius was a good man—devout, generous, sincere—and still not “in.” Peter had the truth, but didn’t yet see how far it reached. And in the middle of it all stands Jesus—the risen Lord, the Judge of all, and the only one who makes us right with God.

This message exposes the answers we rely on and brings us face to face with the one question that matters:

What comes after “because”?
